Ok... So the funny thing is, I have no idea how to do a blog or anything of the like! :) That being said ... I'm just going to start writing and see where it leads!
This page is really just a way to challenge myself and keep myself accountable on my journey to getting fit. Its my challenge because I, like many other people, want to achieve a certain level of fitness but never do simply because we let OURSELVES get in the way! It always some excuse after another: i worked all day, chores need to be done, I'm tired, there is not enough time, I'll start tomorrow, or just one more cheat day.... Believe me, I've said all these and more myself on many an occasion. Well, for me, all that BS is done. This is my road to being able to document and record my fitness log for each day.. That way I can see what I'm doing on a consistent basis AND stay consistent.
This will also keep me accountable! I will force myself to be honest... with myself. I'm the type of person who can see what needs to be done and actually do it if it's written down. If I have to post what exercises I didn't do or what food I ate that wasn't in the health plan, then I can be honest with myself as to why I'm not at the level of fitness i want to achieve. Same goes when I stick to the fitness plan, i can congratulate my self accordingly and see what I'm doing right!
So, first thing is, I want to achieve a level of fitness so that I can become the strongest and healthiest version of myself. It is a life goal of mine to drop to 16-18% body fat and compete in a women's figure competition. As of right now, I'm at about 21-23% body fat and I have had many people tell me that it is hardest to change your body once you are at your body comfortable state. I am determined that this will not hinder me. I have decided that only I can achieve what I want and i just have to do it! ... No ifs, ands, or buts.....
Tomorrow to come: Goals, Stats, and Workout/Diet overhaul!
